Echo

Do you hear the E-C-H-O
Of the days gone by
The meaningless rambling of the brook
As waves hit the rocky shore.

Do you feel the E-C-H-O
The Heavenly departure conceives
When the Earth lied still in the womb
The Milky Way burning in labor pain.

Do you see the E-C-H-O
Boundaries blurred undefined
Embracing us in a love too deep
Never realized 'twas that shallow.

Do you talk to the E-C-H-O
Futile though it may seem, it still serves
A purpose, unifying the voices in your head
Pay attention, they speak out loud.

This Poem is shared with One Single Impression and the Prompt is Echo.
