The stars rain tonight,
Angels clap in sheer delight,
Waterfall of light.
Purity defined,
As I stand under this fall,
Water, kiss my soul.
This Haiku is shared with Carpe Diem and the Prompt is Waterfall.
Every time I read one of your haiku it gets me introduced to something lovely. :)

DeleteAwesome set of haiku Green Speck ... I am glad that you've found the way to my new daily haiku meme Carpe Diem. You're the first ever that has contributed a haiku for Carpe Diem. Thank you so much. I hope to see you again here ... and that more Haijin (haiku poets) will find their way to Carpe Diem.

ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely image but, not as lovely as your words.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bren :-)
DeleteAww..this looks so calm n serene. I love the picture and the haiku goes well with it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images drawn with words. I love the final line especially.
ReplyDeleteI have a small suggestion, though. Of course, it is only a suggestion as you are the author of these amazing haiku. As haiku is not rhyming poetic form, you may shuffle the wording somehow, so as to lose the rhyme and keep the imagery. But, it is your calling.
Best, MK.
Thanks Mariya. I will keep your suggestion in mind going forward. Do keep visiting :-)
Deletewitty metaphor of waterfall of light.
