When I Am Alone And Have Some Free Time

I shall sing to the moon
hum a tune
or perhaps collect the marbles
scattered along my childhood
when I am alone
and have some free time
I would play that rhyme
that resonates deep
like the balmy waves
ahead they leap
kissing the shores
where I now lay
penning my thoughts
they dance and sway

  3. And the moon calls back
in a whisper kind of way
    reminded of the marbles
    and the games people play

a fine verse Amrit - I hope you are well and lapping up the warmth of inspiration in 2015

  5. I think there is something comparable between singing a tune and penning one's thoughts....in that both are ways of expressing creativity!
