Strings, Attached

would you mind holding on to the strings
till dusk gives way to dawn
sunshine is just around the corner
darkness, no longer shall we mourn

let tough times be memories
scribbled on pages of time
when we are attached by the strings of love
do we need a second reason to rhyme
