A man was trying to appease
his wife, when he burnt the cheese.
The dish gone awry
Her rage, he was wary.
Hence, said he "Let's go out for lunch, please?"
The snow was supposed to be light.
Alas, no snow at all, was that right?
He wanted to stay indoors,
Watch the game, of course,
But, with wife he shopped to avoid a fight.
A man, convinced he was right,
Never hesitated to pick up a fight.
Now when he got married,
His wife was deeply harried,
And she punished him with a long starving night.
A gal on the hunt for a winter sale
checked out every corner without fail.
Her old habit returned -
shoplifting, people turned,
and she had to spend her Christmas in jail.
Our fellow Jack who wanted a raise
Showered his boss with lavish praise
However, on D-day
Julie got the greater pay
Sorry Jack, you missed her strategic gaze.
A rich guy who wasn't too bright
Married a gal he thought was right.
But then one day
While he was away,
She stole his belongings, and ran out of sight.
Over-speeding, she heard the line,
"Ma'am, you gotta pay your fine."
She got out of her car,
Took the cop to a bar,
And winked, "Would you like to be on cloud nine?"
A lady in the bar would frequently treat
This suave guy with her sensuous dance beat.
When the music stopped,
Together they hopped
Away to his suite across the wide street.
A fellow would frequently quote
His adventures in the big yellow boat.
And then came the truth
The story of his youth;
Being sea sick he never set afloat.
A lady would frequently pose
With arrogance in her long nose.
Tired of this habit
Her guy said Stop it! Else your best friend will get my rose.
