in blistering blizzard
they seek warmth
by the fireplace
of memories
she, narrates stories
of frozen icicles
that melt with time
and promises
into dewdrops
his fingers encircle
the arc under her eyes
drawing lines
of velvet dreams
with colors seven
he carves rainbow
under the snow
in blistering blizzard
they hear love
knocking at the door
she hesitates
he hesitates
they hesitate
would it be wise
to be safe, and not squander
what's already in store
