walls that held true
for years
now crumbled
grumbled
bit by bit
on the couch
kitchen
floor
time
licked the wound
a passive nod
a worn out smile
on quaked shore
a sigh
and memories drizzled
embraced
where once they wove stories
now, trust laughed misplaced
