There Is A Me

there is a me
in the letters that form
the tales of yore
locked in dreams
and wishes galore

there is a me
in the words that sing
on a lonesome night
when stars do rain
and soar in flight

there is a me
in the pages that  scribble
unsaid verses
that find their way
among blessings and curses

  1. Perhaps it is you. All of it! Your writing is very much apart of who you are! I just love the whimsical sense this piece brings.. Well done!

  2. Somewhere within all of the words we write there is the 'me.' We cannot avoid this, and we must be thankful for it really.

  4. So many things are a part of each of us. I like the way you expressed this and I think it would make a good song.
