Scribble It Black

scribble scribble scribble
and scribble it black
till the walls don't break
and the heart doesn't crack
noises in the corridor
piles dumped on the rack
I'm your nemesis
I shall surely come back

you've always feared
and worried by your fate
counting all the reasons
throwing wisdom out of the gate
and when finally you realize
it's already too late
you are your nemesis
responsible for this state

  12. You know these ring games we played as children, some call it rhymes. Your poem can easily pass for one because of the flow allowing for clapping and perhaps dancing. ;) Silly I know.

  17. For those that have a choice I might agree but seeing the catastrophe occurring in the Middle East and the mass of refugees fleeing their homeland I wonder.

  18. Loved this poem. Anger, vengeance often makes one dump all wisdom and it may get too late before one realizes it.
