She


she creeps
on the edge of your bed
still and silent
white
laughing a shrilled cry
her head rocking
violently
bloodshot eyes
fingers glide across your skin
and you sit, numb


This is my attempt on the occasion of All Hallow's Eve. In honor of the day, this poem contains exactly 31 words.
