Responsibility

Tired shoulders weeping,
Responsibility, cursed,
Forgotten childhood.

Bleeding flowers, bruised,
Burden pierces soft petals,
Dreams, nipped in the bud.

Child labor is a bane of the modern society. Shouldn't the dreams of these children be preserved rather than imposing cruel responsibilities on them?

This Haiku is shared with Carpe Diem and the Prompt is Responsibility.

  8. Child Labor is the shame of our modern times, children don't have to Labor, they must have fun, grow up in peace, learning, enjoying and dreaming ... great haiku with a great message. It's our responsibility to our children to enjoy their life without Labor.
