Someone had rightly said, "Music defies all boundaries." So true. Music isn't narrated by words. Rather, it's felt through the souls. Music isn't comprehended by language. Instead, it's spoken from within.
A few years ago, I came across a Korean music video on YouTube, and to this date, this is one of the best songs I have seen. This is full of love and emotions. True, some events in this story may seem highly dramatized, but that doesn't rob this piece of its soulful melody.
Do check the video and let me know what you feel :-)
Saturday is always so pleasant and relaxing. There is no tension of going back to work the next day, nor no anxiety of waking up early to do the daily chores. Saturday is the time to get lazy, to do whatever you like, without anyone complaining. Perhaps, Saturdays can easily be regarded as the best thing to have happened for the human race.
Weekends are like pencil shaving. The more you shave, the better it runs throughout the week. Weekends are about rejuvenation, and re-energizing your body and mind. I unwind mostly by reading novels, watching movies and playing the guitar. What about you?
I am currently reading The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest. This is the final installment in the Millenium Series. I love crime fictions, and this one rates right among my favorites.
What are you guys up to this weekend?

Truly amazing. I love this video just the way you mentioned it. :) Happy Saturday Greeny :) :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend buddy :-)
Deleteweekend rejuvenating-- pencil shaving. Love the analogy Mr. Green.
ReplyDeleteI can identify with this post so much ! Beautiful music video.
ReplyDeleteMusic is something without which I cannot live apart from reading/writing/painting ! My husband also plays the guitar! We both love music. And I listen to FM all day long. Recently, someone gifted us the Millenium Trilogy DVD { 3 DVds}
Saturdays are very busy-we either socialize or visit a park or watch a movie/have coffee.
take care,
That's a nice way to spend weekends :-) By the way, do read this series. It's awesome, specially Lisbeth Salander, the female protagonist :-D
DeleteHappy Saturday. I like the video...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend :-)
DeleteI like Korean pop music. Not the sad ones but the ones with spunk. :D
ReplyDeleteSaturday truly is a remarkable day. We all feel at ease on this day. For me a day off in winters means to lay inside a blanket, reading a novel with a warm cup of coffee.
Yeah, Saturday winters are all about sipping coffee under blankets :-)
DeleteI watched the entire video. So sad when there is deep love and then some misunderstanding...and at the end the two did not get together either. I do like Korean videos... I heard a lot about the series you are reading, but for some reason I picture it as pretty violent, so I haven't indulged. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend too Mary :-)
Deletefirst of all I am also a fan of Korean music, N most of them are soulful, sarang hae yo is still my fav till date...:)
ReplyDeletesecond i have already finished the trilogy and its worth the weekend. so cheers.

It's tough when you work on weekends, but nevertheless hard work pays off :-P
DeleteI am older and retired but I still save Sat as a special day for doing the most pleasurable things. These include reading and photography and of course writing. Enjoy your weekend GS :-) The video gave me goose bumps - "love's labour lost"
ReplyDeleteI felt the same after watching the video ... have a great day :-)
DeleteI like Friday nights and Saturdays too. Try and force myself to stay awake til really late so I can take the dog out late and maybe then can have a sleep in, in the morning.
ReplyDeleteSad, beautiful song.
I like to get to sleep quick and wake up really early on Sunday so that I can spend my hours properly before Monday starts :-)
DeleteWell said, my friend. Saturdays are pure bliss.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely :-)
DeleteOMG GS, I really love this song.. It's been a long time.. I even memorized the lyrics, know! :) hehehe.. I was a huge fan of Korean songs, dramas and movies.. :D
ReplyDeleteMy weekend is so relaxing.. We went out for breakfast and watched movies at home (my usual weekend program).. :))
You memorized Korean lyrics? :o Wow !!!
DeleteI had a great weekend too ... but Monday awaits again :-(
Yes, for me it was a fun Saturday. I've been at a party with friends.

DeleteSadly, I've been working past Saturdays... for me the most relaxing are the Sunday mornings...staying in bed with good book till late morning hours or checking out the latest in the bloggersphere are my favourite Sunday mornings!
ReplyDeleteIf you like the Millennium series I recommend you try Jo Nesbo afterwards! If you haven't read this one already - start with Headhunters. :)x
