Boredom - Haiku

Unresistant rain,
Flowing without a constraint,
Children stuck at home.

Reluctance galore,
Disobeys playful desires,
Boredom creeping in.

Idle mind awake,
Concentric lines intersect,
Ideas unveiled.

This Haiku is written for Sensational Haiku Wednesday and the Prompt is Boredom.

  1. No rain here, unfortunately. But stuck on the couch with a broken foot is definitely boring. This struck a cord with me.

    2. yes, that really brings back memories of days when I lived in the tropics of Miami and there would be days and days of rain - and as much as I love rain after a few days it would really get boring!
