Harbor

Yawning ships arrive,
Waves sing dreamy lullaby,
Harbor invites home.

This Haiku is shared with Carpe Diem and the Prompt is Harbor.

  3. Home for humans, death for fish, a harbor always stays between two worlds.
Ships yawning, yes, tired fishermen longing for a good rest at home.
The waves lulling, happy fish free from been captured...for a while.
So much implied in your haiku!

  5. Just the concept of home.. That's what's most beautiful about this.. It's like missing someone and feeling them calling you home. I wish I could see the sea..

  6. If a ship cannot find a home in a harbor, then what good is the harbor? :)

  7. your beautiful haiku touches me deeply, as my home is the oldest fishing port in America (and my dad was a fisherman) ...... So harbor and home are synonymous to me ...
