The new sun rises,
Emanating warm freedom,
Uncovers fresh path.

Valley of hope calls,
Love marks on my naked soul,
Dear, forget-me-not.

This Haiku is written for Haiku Heights and the Prompt is Forget-me-not.

  4. Your poem gave love a more romantic edge. The second stanza was the soul of the poem. :)

  9. Hi G. Speck ~~ Very nicely written. I love the line, "Love marks on my naked soul." I can see them still though the soul cannot be seen. (Got me to wondering just what kind of marks are they, bites, blood pooling bruises-hickies, scratches that got too carries away, or what--there are others still???)

Thank you for peeking in on my whimsical lumps of coal senryu. When I lack for time I 'write' things like that, if you can call it writing, just to have some interplay with the other writers.
