Usurai (Thin Ice)

she smiles
at her reflection
on thin ice

ducks gather
around the campfire
danger, thin ice

their shadow
makes love in mirror
soft icy warmth

This Haiku is shared with Carpe Diem - Usurai (Thin Ice).

  7. Hey, G.S, I do like those ducks around the campfire. If on the ice the fire will make the ice thinner.

We have a saying in the U.S, "skating on thin ice," which means be careful in what you are doing. It is wrong and it could sink you. It's very similar to one called "living on the edge."
