snow blossoms
winter trees hug me
I pluck clouds

winter trees
they walk down the road
holding hands

  3. I so love your poetry, Mr.G ... Always like to think it's just for me ... I'm very confused about your dedications to "Carpie diem and what not" ... and that makes me feel that I do not belong (that's why I erased all of my last years poems, because who cares anyway and that's why I never claim copyright for my work, so I just kill it every now and then. Don't know how much longer I'll stick with Blogger either. You have any adice? Thank you for your kindness, Mr. G. Love, cat.

    1. Your poems are very special Cat, and I really felt sad when you deleted your older posts. Your stories are true and touch the heart, each of your posts are a lesson in itself, guiding the readers on the paths of life. Your words are always beautiful and honest. Do keep writing :-)

  6. It makes me sad that we are not conected, because we want to share poetry, but because we belong to some poety club, that we have to deliver to qnd belong to ... I will never belong, Mr. G ... If you are, I respect that also ... Love, cat (http://catsrule.dogsdrooe.blogspoy.com/)

    1. I respect your point of view Cat. However, you do not need to join any poetry club to share your poems. I use the prompts to write, perhaps because I am too lazy to devise a topic of my own :-) However, I love your poems that are so close to life. Do keep writing :-)

  9. "Snow blossoms" can mean the dewy clumps of snow adorning the branches or the ever present "blossoming" of snow in the winter time. I like that the line is ambiguous. It makes me think.

  19. Though it's a winter theme your second haiku reminds me of the moai on Easter Island.
