Untold

I wait for you
Behind closed doors
Muted agony
Turns to ecstasy
As soon as I am in your arms.

We roll and gallop
Over lusty terrains
Dancing with the birds
And relishing the rain
Let's kiss in delight
Oh, consider my plight
My eyes search for you
Together, we flew.

The volcano shakes
Sings a loud song
Of passion we devoured
We explode and burn
Run, run, run
Nooks and crevices
My world, you traversed.

You gift me this life
Of money and luxuries
But alas, I know
You can never call me your wife

And I lay contented
Resigned to my fate
The darkness emerges
Is it that late?
Won't you come tonight?
Can I not have you in my sight?
My heart aches in your absence
For you I squander away my defense.

I stand by the window
And you would come tonight
We would race against the storm
Untold stories, can they ever be right?

  19. A poem full of quick passion and refrained sadness; poor woman resigned to her fate! "Wuthering Heights" came to my mind...
    My favorite lines
