Stories Unwrapped

a letter flows
cementing a word
in pages blank, once
now flooded
with thoughts mundane
and bright and unique
and heavy and light
colors of passion
my canvas paints
weighed in scales
of emotions and figments
yes, that's my game
playing with tales
stories unwrapped

This Poem is shared with Theme Thursday - Passion.

  3. Yes, stories definitely can be 'unwrapped' by the flowing of letters (and words) on a page! Nice.

  9. Writing and unwrapping the words can be like you are getting a gift all the time. What a special treat for everyone. Truly when one reads a new page then it is such a fun thing to do to not know what is coming. I think you have written about one of the greatest joys in reading and writing.

Thank you for sharing this with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. Hope you have a wonderfully cool week with your friends and family.

    God bless.
