when words were drenched in winter rain
and silence made me go insane
I drew a chapter new
flaming red, me and you
you smelt of honey
in winter dusk
amidst pages
cologne and
musk
but was this fake
you were my take
brimming with passion
my penned creation
the hours grew still
and I heard your voice
calling out my name
well, I had no choice
'cause I was burnt in this obsession
smouldering you, my hushed fiction
