    1. Well I had heard about this custom long back, don't know if it is only a story or whether it's real ... according to it, a widow has to shave her hair when her husband dies !!!

  10. A beautiful story, her emotions heartfelt. It's a strange thing about a woman's hair,,I know of many who cut theirs in times of sorrow, sickness or emotional loss. It is symbolic somehow to many. In this case she is sad as it wasn't her choice - but often it is.
