Embracing The Dark

the right to heal

to brush aside the scars

destined by fate

I lost them too far

the window from where

the sun once rose

now shredded and tattered

is shut and close

deserted and maimed

the hurricane left me blinded

I embrace the dark

after goodness had me defeated
