A Story Ends, A Tale Begins

how does it feel
to cover miles
in lonesome tracks
where real meets reel
how does it feel

a couple of miles
the sign board reads
a hazy path
where tracks would lead
a couple of miles

a bliss, a freedom
a light so divine
we, mere mortals
humbled by the shine
a bliss, a freedom

a story ends, a tale begins
the cycle runs
forever it seems
of life before, and thereafter
a story ends, a tale begins

  2. so true....the story never really ends....just hte chapters...and where one ends, another begins...
and in many ways it is dictated by our choices....

  3. How lovely! Beautiful words and the glimmer of hope they show. The story ends, the tale begins, the cycle runs... lovely!

  4. It goes on.. In cycle, one after another. Loved the title.

  6. This is super cool. The story you've created mixed with the rhyme/style of the poem is great. Nicely done.
