It's sad when we miss the signs of distress in others. I think that sometimes we do see the signs, but so busy and wrapped up in our own lives are we, we ignore... Anna :o]
Such a sad piece. So many people don’t understand depression and your poem speaks of that well and how heartbreaking it is not to be understood or to understand even yourself. It relates well to the prompt song. Thank you for participating.
I will never give in to any kind of depression and/ or oppression. Wishing you a very happy, healthy and productive New Year ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard when we miss the signs of someone needing help. Especially when it is too late. I really feel this poem, Amrit.
ReplyDeleteWe shall go forward, then... now that the signs have been seen.
ReplyDeleteIt's very important to notice the signs. Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI'm not quite that fatalistic. The way back can get harder with time, but it's almost always still there.
