you were the rain
my company in awakened nights
hours stood still
wrongs never seemed so right
like all good things
alas, this too had to end
though I never wanted to
but the road ahead did bend
promises you made
were those just for show
why this delay
when you could've easily said no

ReplyDeleteWow.. this is awesome.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, people come in our lives and impact it in ways inexplicable. And just when we are about to start trusting them with all we have, just when we start feeling dependent on them... there comes a time when we loose them.
It makes me ( perhaps, many) question, when it had to lead to this, why it happened in the first place at all?
Well said Pulkit, but as you know, there are many questions to which there can be no answers :-)
