The Savior

He seemed oblivious to the green mist that threatened to entrap him in its meandering waves, thus deviating him from the true purpose of his arrival, and rendering him a failure.

However, his heart brimmed with unwavering faith and conviction, and he knew no obstacle could obstruct the sole purpose of his life now; he, the new Savior of mankind.

Time was running fast, and that's what he had to stop - yes, he was here to steal time, to avoid the inevitable, and not just delay it.

Today the phoenix would rise from its ashes, the scars would heal, and the world would bow to his acts, only if he accomplished this mission.

He had to get on with the task, and complete it before the calender turned to the fateful day, that would be tomorrow, the 21st of December, 2012.

Between You And Me

Between you and me
The world will sway
As we light up the sun
And paint the moon
In our canvas of love
Red, green and blue.

Between you and me
Creation will answer
Myriad questions
That lie buried in the sand
Where we build castles
In the sea of dreams.

Between you and me
Closets lay bare
Skeletons tumble out
Narrating their tales
Of fairies and demons
Who pass by our fate.

Between you and me
Nectar savored
At the edge of our lips
The joy of passion
Uncovered, discovered
Ecstasy gets a name.

Between you and me
Lies the mountain of trust
Weaving this magic of undying love.

This Poem is shared with Sunday Scribblings and the Prompt is Between You and Me.

Opposites Attract

A man who was rather urbane
Fell in love with Ms Plain Jane.
Opposites attract
Quite true, in fact
They proved the saying all over again.

Young Hope

The cold waking life
Upon the lovely earth
Continuing
Hope for higher Heaven
I' the summer sky
In my very heart
Imagining
What more could I have seen?
My spell - the chilly wind on the moon
Shone too coldly - let it pass
I have dreams in delirious eyes
Of Paradise and Love
And
All our young hope.
