Blurred Photographs Sing

Blurred photographs sing
Songs of our beautiful past
Now ashes remain.

Now ashes remain
Void narration haunts my day
Silver moon soothes me.

Silver moon soothes me
Phoenix rising from ashes
I erase the past.

I erase the past
Uncharted land of new dreams
The sun will rise here.

The sun will rise here
Echoes resounding in waves
Blurred photographs sing.

This Haiku is shared with Sensational Haiku Wednesday and the Prompt is Photograph.

  2. I love the optimistic zing that this haiku sings! Past has to be waved good-bye to welcome the new tomorrow.

  3. Blurred photos have an uncanny propensity for mystery and romanticism around them. Nicely GS!

  6. I love the way you connected each of them with the repeating lines, they echoed so nicely. It is always good to erase the past and walk on to find sunshine although it sometimes past grips us hard.
