Starve

Disconnected cords,
Muted vision envelopes,
Starving for that love.

Gruesome terrain, starved,
Blue bird hums gentle swan song,
Hugging deathly life.

This Haiku is hared with Haiku Heights and the Prompt is Starve.

  2. These are both excellent haiku for the prompt. Truly it is sad when someone is starved for love.

  3. I don't think anyone deserves to be starved of love.. and sing a swansong.. but when the first happens, the second does seem to follow...

  9. So sad but true. The blue bird has been robbed of its habitat. Makes one ask,"What are we doing?"

  20. I live in what your words call a "gruesome terrain" (the desert), but I don't find it to be a starved place by any means...
