DeleteWOW! I take it as a warning of things to come.. the apocalypse. Something that I think we're all afraid of to some degree but then why should we fear? He will return to take us all home when that time comes. I love how you talked about the rapture.. and the picture of the book of revelation makes it stand out even more! Very beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThanks Joanne :-)
DeleteVery nice, I especially like the last one :) Revelation is an extraordinary book.
ReplyDeleteI studied the bible for nearly 9 years ... The book of revelation is one of my favourites, because it really doesn't reveal anything ... excet what you make of it in your own mind ... must admit though, that I love Psalm 139 ... has dried many of my tears of mine ... the rest ... no, thanks, all the murder and wife and child abuse ... and Paulus and his letters ... I would gladly give him a black eye, if I could ...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your views Cat :-)
DeleteYou are probably a christian believer ... I apologise if I hutr your feelings with my earlier comment and my blog post ... obviously faith in any god is on my mind at all times ... just have not found any true and valid examples ... Love, cat.
DeleteI am not a believer of any particular faith ... in fact, I love reading about all faiths and try to learn from each one of them :-)
DeleteI follow the Baha'i religious tenants (not the organized religion - Although Baha'i isn't very organized!) and your POWERFUL haiku's resonated.
P.S. Baha'i recognizes ALL major religious groups and believes the prophets of each are all divine manifestations of one God.
Thanks Judith for sharing such wonderful knowledge !!!
DeleteBeautiful set of haiku......I loved the first one!
ReplyDeleteThank You Valli :-)
DeleteJohn on Patmos saw things that few of us will ever see...
